Corona Del Mar : Welcome Home

Corona del Mar, which in Spanish means Crown of the Sea originally was sought after as a vacation resort destination at the turn of the century. Today, it is a community as beautiful as its name. This little seaside village is part of the City of Newport Beach.

Some of Orange County’s most prestigious residential areas can be found here with a range of single family cottages, bluff top homes with terraced landscaping to stunning oceanfront villas with a beach as your front yard.

Corona del Mar village itself offers a wonderful selection of shopping, restaurants and fashionable boutiques along the boulevard, reminiscent of the eastern seaboard’s Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Some of California’s most romantic beaches and coves are found here and it’s no wonder that residents can be found strolling along the bluffs and the shoreline by day and into night. The half-mile long sandy beach framed by cliffs and a rock jetty forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor.

Architecturally, one can find some of the original bungalows constructed in the 30's on the flower streets in town. The streets of Corona del Mar are named after flowers from Acacia to Poppy, each lined with a different variety of trees. Gardens on each street display the flower after the street it is named.

As part of the City of Newport Beach, the schools are among the finest in the nation and have been awarded numerous accolades for premier education.
